According to Vinh Luong, director of sales and marketing for Carrie Amber Intimates Inc, the parent company of Seven ‘til Midnight, the brand has “a big assortment of styles that cross over into dancewear and clubwear.”
The key to success in the market, said Luong, is to “give the customer the whole package: Well-priced, trend-right items with lots of fun colors.”
She sees that “all the trends [in the market are currently] inspired by Madonna the Material Girl with lingerie crossing over into club/dance/outerwear, especially [with] bustiers, industrial garters and bras underneath sheer tops. Lace is everywhere, especially in bright colors. There’s also a lot of layering and accessorizing so waist cinchers, tutus and petticoats are selling well.”
As the overall look is becoming “more sophisticated and feminine,” she said: “Masculine embellishments such as metal chains and studs are going out.”
According to Luong, Best-selling Seven ‘til Midnight styles that work for dancewear and clubwear consist of the Flirty Frills Bustier in black and hot pink (9138); the Victorian Lace Bustier in teal (9103); the Perfectly Polished Bustier in black (9109); the Lolita Tutu in hot pink (9276); and the Honey Tutu in hot pink (9279).
