For Valentine's Day 2010, Dreamgirl is launching an array of lingerie and packaged lingerie including babydolls; skirt sets; corsets; and couples packaged intimates based with the goal of bringing "the hottest looks and trends to the bedroom." Sizes will run from S through 3X/4X, 32 to 44, or one-size-fits-most and one-size-fits-most queen, depending on the style, and wholesale pricing will range from approximately $9.95 to $24.95. Included are best-sellers like the Cherry Pin-Up Girl corset, a fully reversible corset with cherry print satin on one side and solid black satin and red binding on the other side; Romantic Rendezvous babydoll, a lycra net babydoll with a chiffon ruffle neckline and hem, lightly padded underwire cups and contrast black straps; and True Romance babydoll, a flocked heart printed mesh halter babydoll with satin ribbon bow trim and hem and matching thong. Other best-sellers include the Untamed Passion babydoll, which Hovsepian called "A beautiful leopard print and solid black knit chiffon babydoll with strappy back and matching thong. It also includes matching wrist cuff restraints." She added: "Leopard print has been a big hit for us this season [...] Valentine?s Day color-inspired animal prints are the hot ticket!" According to Lar Hovsepian, marketing manager for the company, many key sellers for the season come from the Gift Diamond Collection, and due to positive feedback the company has doubled its offerings of these styles. She commented: "The Gift Diamond collection is a perfect seasonal product to display in stores. The items appear pre-gift wrapped with a Gold Foil bow detail on the front making it neutral for both Holiday and Valentines gift giving. The Gift Diamond Collection styles are especially great gift ideas for these seasons because they feature One Size Fits Most sizing, which eliminates sizing miscalculations when purchasing for loved ones. All of the styles featured in the Gift Diamond Collection come with matching 'gift' items, including matching feather ticklers, necklaces, purses, eye masks and door signs! The perfect treat for that special lady!' She sees 'intricate' flocked heart print mesh fabrics, and satins and chiffons, all of which can be seen in Dreamgirl's line, as popular for the season. Also big are cherry prints, which have the added benefit of being wearable outside of Valentine's Day; perfect for consumers "who are being more cautious in their spending, [and] are out to find the best value for their money."
