Lingerie Etc. Boutique for 22 years has delivered quality sexy goods for bedroom fantasies to happy couples. Keeping the marriage bed interesting, Lingerie Etc. Boutique helps to unlock the inner desires of customers by offering a wide range of sexy lingerie, including teddies, hosiery, novelties, plus-size lingerie and dance wear.
Unlike most sexy lingerie boutiques, Lingerie Etc. has a children's playroom where parents can leave their kids while they shop. The store also has a separate room for novelties, along with a full service florist.
"Customer Service is our top priority," said Diane Lamas, owner of Lingerie Etc. Boutique. "If someone feels comfortable, they will return. We have a sign above our cash wrap that says, 'Enter as strangers...Leave as a friend.'"
Debbie Stephenson first opened the 3,000 square-foot boutique in 1985. Lamas took over last year and today manages seven employees, all of whom are trained bra fitters.
"Each and every one of them [the employees] has their own special talent; we work as a family here at Lingerie Etc. Boutique," said Lamas.
The most-requested brands, according to Lingerie Etc., are Dreamgirl, Escante, Shirley of Hollywood and Empire. The most-requested items are babydolls, G-spot vibes, warming lubes, corsets and all things fishnet. Additionally, Lingerie Etc. Boutique recently re-entered the bras-for-larger-breasted-women market, which the company hopes, as time goes by, will grow in popularity.
While the typical price range on underwear and bras runs from $15.00 to $18.00 for panties, and $ 39.00 to $ 59.00 for bras, an average sale is usually between $45.00 and $55.00. The age range of customers at the sexy boutique runs from ages 25 to 70, with men and older women shoppers increasingly visiting more frequently than before.
The company attributes its increasing numbers of new clients to the boutique's display ad on Kroger Grocery Store shopping cards, advertisements in coupon mail outs, and other mailing lists that offer special coupons.
