Halloween Mart, a division of International Concepts Entertainment Group, opened its 8,000-square-foot store in 1993 with the hopes of bringing costumes, decorations, make-up, masks, props and accessories to its Las Vegas patrons. A year later, Halloween Mart expanded into the digital world and launched its website, which has allowed the company to emerge as a well-known provider of costumes and related products.
Halloweenmart.com, has grown significantly since its beginnings, and has been recognized by the "Wall Street Journal," YAHOO!, and MSN as a top website.
In addition to the year-round Las Vegas location, Halloween Mart each year opens seasonal retail stores from September 1 through October 31st throughout the Las Vegas Valley, under the Halloween Experience name.
"I am very impressed with the wide range of costumes and accessories that Halloween Mart offers, said Kate a.k.a. "Dorothy" from "The Wizard of OZ." "I am a huge fan of the Halloween Holiday and costume parties. I have never found a Web site that offers so much."
The Halloween store offers many costumes and brands, including the Leg Avenue brand. Popular styles include pirates and French maids. Customers typically spend an average of $70 per visit, according to company reports.
In an effort to better serve its customers, Halloween Mart teamed up with the Shareasale Network to provide a costume affiliate program to sell Halloween costumes and Halloween-related merchandise. By using the Shareasale tracking code, patrons can place links to HalloweenMart.com on affiliate websites and earn commission.
"The concept behind our store is Imagine, Create, Transform," said Heather Siegel, vice president and buyer for Halloween Mart.
