Ted Vayos, BODY: Describe your store.

Megan Swartz: Our Deja Vu and Love Boutique stores carry a variety of adult novelty, clothing and retail products. Our main products are lingerie, hosiery, club wear, swimwear, costumes, adult novelties, DVDs, books, games, and massage candles. We have lingerie of all types and packaged lingerie is really a big seller as it makes a great gift. Our stores are very clean, well lit and easy to navigate through. We are very thorough when it comes to information given to the consumer. We make sure our staff goes above and beyond with every customer so that they all get that “wow” experience that is not often found in retail stores. We are, to say the least, a one stop shop that you are sure to find exactly what you need. We carry a very large amount of inventory so that all needs can be met. Our stores operate as a team, this is a huge reason for our success. Every member of our staff is an important piece of the puzzle. There are no words to express the gratitude we have for the hard work of our staff.

Ted: What makes your store special?

Megan: Our stores are very inviting for couples and individuals. The stores are well lit, and have specific sections of merchandise making it easy to shop. We also pride ourselves in great customer service and our staff is well trained on product knowledge which is why we have a lot of repeat customers.

Ted: What do you look for in a brand?

Megan: When looking for a brand, I look for quality and whether its the right fit for my clientele. I have found the way you present your products so that people can “look and feel” is also important. Some of my top brands include Leg Avenue, Baci, Dreamgirl, Pleaser shoes, Burleska, Tantus, Screaming O, California Exotics, Doc Johnson, Lelo, and Pipedream. In this business relationships are just as important as the products themselves. One of my best reps is Julie Kuntz with Leg Avenue. She has gone above and beyond with helping brand herself among my stores. She always presents me with new products from Leg Avenue she feels would do well, including their new RaveWear line that is going to be a huge seller for us with EDC (Electric Daisy Carnival) in Las Vegas this June. She has also worked in my stores during events and busy times such as the Halloween season to help with sales and product knowledge. Baci is one of my newest brands, I started carrying them about a year and half ago and it has done really well for me. The top selling product we have of theirs are their bras. They do well because they have a wide range of sizes, 9 to be exact. Every Baci style also comes packaged with a coded tag, which is nice because you are able to just pull the product out of the box and display it.

Ted: What are the latest trends?

Megan: Hosiery, Club attire, packaged lingerie and plus sizes are always popular in our stores.

Ted: Describe your price points and size ranges.

Megan: Our price points range anywhere from condoms at $1 all the way up to Vanita by Jopen $287. Sizes range from XS up to 3X/4X

Ted: What is your typical or average customer size.

Megan: Smalls and Mediums.

Ted: What does your average customer spend per visit to your store?

Megan: $40.00

Ted: Describe your customer.

Megan: Mostly tourist couples, girls from the pools and nightlife. Age range between 18-60.

Ted: What else can you tell us about your new store?

Megan: Our newest location in the Stratosphere is taking Sexy to new heights!! Our hard opening for this locations is on Saturday May 25th at 7pm. We are very excited about this addition as it will be a great asset to the company. Entering a casino on the Las Vegas strip is a huge deal for not only us but our industry as well. This is truly ground breaking and we are so excited to be working hand in hand with our vendors on our newest adventure. Come Check It Out!

It has been such a pleaser to work with Kimberly Penny, the mastermind of Envious Designs, on transforming this space into a masterpiece. I must also mention my store manager Alicia Keka, who worked day in and day out along side of us to make this dream a reality. Alicia was an assistant manager previously at our busiest location, Deja Vus Adult Emporium. When the position arouse we could not see a better fit for this location. She is young, smart, ambitious and very business savvy.
