Dave Goldman: Skitzo Kitty Lingerie, Ltd. was originally conceived to entice, indulge, and stimulate the feminine mystique. From the moment you cross our threshold you enter a world apart from your everyday life and into a world of erotic excitement. The entire theme is to make you, the customer, comfortable yet curious about the possibilities that lay ahead. The sexy mood lighting, exceptional musical play lists, and pheromone infused air freshener, create a departure from anywhere else in town, except maybe your own boudoir.
Skitzo Kitty is an intimate boutique. Upon entering Skitzo Kitty you are in the lingerie and accessories area. Scorching fantasy wear, platform heels, pasties, open crotch panties and body stockings are the basics. If you are looking for something unique and sexy, select a semi-custom corset or waist cincher. We have a huge assortment of stockings, leggings and pantyhose.
However, it is our ability to accessorize that sets us apart from the rest of the animal kingdom. So get started with a rhinestone choker, a leather riding crop, and top it off with Swarovsky Crystal restraints.
Skitzo Kitty Lingerie is all about offering the best adult novelties, DVD’s, male and female enhancers, lotions and lubes available. We also offer novelties for your bachelorette party and a full selection of bondage gear, swings, cuffs and masks.

Ted: What makes your store special?
Dave: What makes Skitzo Kitty Lingerie so special, and why our customers come here, and not our competition or online, is our staff. We have the most attractive, best trained, highly professional, all female sales staff in the business. Knowledge and attitude constitute the formula for our success. We are firm believers in listening to our customers and allowing them to let us know everything we need to be the best at what we do. We are here to have fun and our customers know it.
Ted: What do you look for in a brand?
Dave: The Brands we carry define who we are. We look for quality first. The styles have to match the Skitzo Kitty brand. After more than a decade in business, we know what sells. We buy according to the feedback we receive from our customers.
Allure, Shirley of Hollywood, Leg Avenue, Coquette and Eurotique are some of our most popular clothing brands. These brands have helped to define the Skitzo Kitty Brand.
Our vendors are the life blood of our business. They must be able to provide service and accountability on a consistent basis. They need to keep us informed and up to date on new products. We count on them to help us be all we can be. The vendors must keep up their websites and keep us current on sold out inventory so we can order the right amount of the right stuff. Communication is key to any successful relationship. We place orders on a daily basis, so they need to keep up with our fast pace and learn about us as we do about them.
Ted: Describe popular styles or trends in your store.
Dave: f you are looking for lingerie to wear, this may not be the place. Our lingerie styles are usually worn to be taken off. Our shoes tend to point up. Fantasy wear and role play are always a trend at Skitzo Kitty. Sexy is better than cute.
Ted: Describe your price points and size ranges.
Dave: Our average sale is about $60.00. We have a wide price range up to leather corsets for $500.00. Most lingerie sales tend to track in the $60-100 range.
We also carry a wide range of sizes from petite to 3X. Plus sizes have been doing well. Carrying a selection of larger corsets, plus size boxed lingerie and queen size hose have greatly improved our bottom line.
Ted: What is your average customer size?
Dave: There is no such thing as a typical or average customer size. Sizes tend to be all over the place. Frequently, our customers will be large on top and small on bottom or vice versa. The client could be very petite with her pal who is a plus size. So this question is difficult to answer. I guess if I had to commit to a typical or average size, I would have to plead the fifth.
Ted: What does the average customer spend per visit to your store?
Dave: Our average customer spends about $60.00.
Ted: Describe your customer base.
Dave: Our customer mix is predominantly female age 30 plus. We also get couples over 30. This is our core demographic.
Men tend to be a secondary market for us. They come here because our staff is well equipped to help them select to appropriate items.
People between 18 and 30 make up about 20% of our business and people over 55 make up about 20% as well.
