Ted: What do you look for in a brand?

Meytal: MissesDressy.com is an industry leader in formal wear and stocks top brands like: Sherri Hill, Jovani, La Femme, Mon Cheri, Tony Bowls and more. We specialize in occasion wear for life’s big nights like prom, homecoming, birthday parties and the big one, your wedding day.

After a hugely successful 2011, MissesDressy is expanding to offer lingerie, shoes and accessories as a one-stop-shop for our customers looking for that special outfit. Currently we stock Julie France shapewear and Alisha Hill shoes as complimentary brands. Shapewear is a perfect accessory for our formal dresses, making women everywhere feel and look fabulous in that gown. Shoes, bags and jewelry are all on the horizon for MissesDressy’s customers in 2012.

Ted: Describe popular styles or trends in your store.

Meytal: We stock a large range of dresses for every occasion and do especially well with Prom and Bridal styles.
This season’s go-to prom trends are the “Hi-Lo” silhouette and full length embellished and sequin dresses. We keep a close eye on red carpet trends and follow the star style to keep up to date with the latest fashion looks.

Ted: Describe your price points and size ranges.

Meytal: The goal of MissesDressy.com is to provide a place where women and girls of all shapes and sizes can shop for the big event in their lives. We stock gowns in a range of price points starting from just $150 to a range of couture designer cuts at $3000+. We have a wide selection of designers that cater to a wide customer base both in terms of price and size.

Ted: What is your average customer size?

Meytal: In ladies’ fashion there is no average customer and definitely no average customer size! We understand and specialize in offering gowns from 00 to 34 with some dedicated plus size brands like Sydney’s Closet and Cassandra Stone II. Each gown comes with a dedicated size chart direct from the designer to help you choose the correct fit.

Ted: What does the average customer spend per visit to your store?

Meytal: Our retail prices range from very affordable cocktail wear starting at $150 to red carpet worthy couture gowns ranging from $1000 - $4000, with a selection available for all events and budgets. A typical customer spends in the region $500 per gown depending on the event.

Ted: Describe your customer base.

Meytal: MissesDressy.com caters to women of all shapes and sizes and our customer demographic changes with the seasons . Our primary customers shop for Prom, Bridal Gowns, Mother of the Bride Gowns and Birthday dresses.
