(Filed Under wholesale Dancewear News). Miami-based Espiral, a brand that specializes in sexy dance wear, club wear, costumes, sleepwear, mix and match designs and basic underwear, plans to launch 35 to 40 new designs this upcoming April.
The Espiral 2009 collection will incorporate a lot of metallics and the mix and match line will double in size and will feature more prints as well as metallic colors. Only about five designs from last season will continue to be a part of Espiral's collection; offering customers quite a selection of new designs.
Aside from the mix and match line, all of Espiral's products come in four different sizes: small through extra large. All the products, aside from the mix and match line, are available in two colors and the selection of these two colors vary depending on the design.
The most popular collections are the dance wear and the club wear, specifically the dresses. "We're doing well with mini dresses and dance wear sets," said Angela Escobar, co-owner of Espiral.
Year-old Naughty Sack, a store located in Tennessee, carries Espiral's products and the line has had no problem selling, even in such hard economic times. "We started selling their products last year when they had their other lines and everything sold really well," said Janey Haynes, owner of Naughty Sack. "People love their items." The best-selling collection in Naughty Sack is the club wear line, which retails at an average of $54.99. "It's the only club wear line that I carry and I sell a lot of it."
All of Espiral's products are packaged and the packaging has images on the front and back of each garment, "which is great for retail stores," said Escobar. "Our price points are very convenient, the reason being that we are actually the owners and the distributors at the same time, so our price points vary from $2 and they go up to $18 wholesale."
