(Filed Under Financial and General Interest News). Chico's FAS, the parent company of Soma Intimates, has cited a 3.6 percent increase in net sales for the second quarter ended August 2. Net sales reached $419.9 million, compared to $405.2 million during the same period last year.

Second quarter comparable store sales for Soma Intimates increased by 0.4 percent. Also in this quarter, Soma Intimates opened four store locations, bringing the total up to 74 stores across 48 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
