After noticing that T-shirt bras are popular among breast-feeding moms today, Medela is launching two seamless collections on October 5th: a seamless line for larger cups, and a seamless jacquard running in regular sizes. Both wholesale for $19, with F, G and H cups priced at $21.75.

"We are very excited about these lines and can't wait to get them out there," said Anne Ng'ang'a, product manager of intimate apparel for the company.

The seamless line for larger cups includes a non-wire and underwire bra available in sizes 32DD to F, 34 to 38, DD through H, and 40 to 46, D through H. Both are made from microfiber and are available in shades of white and mocha. Cup sizes DD through E retail for $39.99, while sizes F, G and H retail for $44.99. Ng'ang'a reported that unique aspects of the line are that bras include frame made from Coolmax, and wide straps that do not dig into women's shoulders, which is "important for larger-busted women," she said. Also of note is the company's first non-wired bra for full-figured moms.

"A lot of moms like to keep away from underwire, but in the past couldn't design a non-wired bra that was supportive enough for larger-sized moms," she said. Although she said she could not reveal the company's design secrets, she remarked: "We have figured out a design that is supportive enough for the more well-endowed mom."

Retailers slated to carry the collection include The Gap, Target online, JCPenney online and through its catalog, and Babies R Us and Babies R Us online.

The seamless jacquard line also includes an underwire a wire-free bra available in shades of white, black and latte. It retails for $39.99, and comes in sizes 32C through D, 34 to 38 B through D, and 40C. Ng'ang'a described the line's Jacquard material as "a beautiful, feminine floral," that is also completely seamless and smooth under clothes.
