(Filed Under wholesale Maternity News). In celebration of Breastfeeding Awareness Month, founder of Glamourmom Line Rothman will donate 200 of the brand's nursing bra tanks to the Baby Buggy organization to benefit moms in need this August.
The nursing bra tank is a patented built-in nursing bra design that offers support, coverage and style. "The benefit from providing women the opportunity to nurse comfortably and discreetly is two-fold," said Rothman. "The mom will hopefully enjoy the process much more and breastfeed longer, and their children will receive all of the health benefits associated with breastfeeding."
Founded in 2001 by Jessica Seinfeld, Baby Buggy is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing New York City's families in need. "We're thrilled about this donation from Glamourmom," said Katherine Sneider, executive director of Baby Buggy in New York. "NFP is a nurse home visiting program that improves the health, well-being and self-sufficiency of low-income, first-time moms from pregnancy through the first two years of their child's life. The nurses also educate women on the benefits of breastfeeding. For these moms that are under every stress imaginable, a product that can make breastfeeding that much easier will be put to good use."
