(Filed Under Fashion News). Seattle-based Nordstrom, Inc. announced it is adding two new Nordstrom Rack stores to its roster. One will be at the Hastings Village shopping center, one of the major shopping centers in Pasadena, California and the other at Beverly Connection in Los Angeles. Both stores are set to open in fall 2009.

"We're eager to begin serving the community, and we hope that customers will enjoy the outstanding value and merchandise that we have to offer," said Scott Meden, president of Nordstrom Rack.

The store in Pasadena will be 42,625 square feet and it will be the twelfth Nordstrom Rack in the Orange County and Los Angeles area. Additionally, the company operates 16 Nordstrom full-line stores in the area.

"Nordstrom Rack is the company's off-price retail division, offering savings of 30 to 70 percent on apparel and accessories for women, men and children. The merchandise is made up of products from Nordstrom full-line stores and the company's online store at Nordstrom.com, as well as special purchase items."

Founded in 1901 in Seattle, Nordstrom Inc. operates over 150 stores across the U.S.
