(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). As a part of Triumph International's global restructuring plan, up to 65 jobs are at risk at the company's Swindon facility in the UK. Shipping and packing of the company's private label products are currently carried out at the Swindon facility, and will likely be performed by Triumph's other manufacturing sites directly.
According to the company, "This reorganization is a necessary step to keep the UK business competitive in extreme market conditions. The company deeply regrets that any job losses are being considered and will make every possible effort to ensure that all affected employees are being treated fairly and with respect for their contributions to the company."
This news follows an announcement where Triumph cited it is ceasing manufacturing and distribution center operations in its plant in the Philippines, affecting 1,686 employees, which BODY reported on July 1st.
