Piave to Launch Lingerie Prints

(Filed Under Fashion News). Textile manufacturer Piave Maitex has announced its new lingerie printed collection for autumn/winter 2010/11, which will be shown at the upcoming Interfiliere Evolution Days held in Paris on June 18th.

The collection is comprised of eight different themes, which include: Monochromatic Contrast; Blue Ink; Platinum Age; Boudoir Des Poupees; Black Lights; Easy Cosy; Hd Jungle; and Cosplay Generation.

Monochromatic Contrast is described by the company as a mix between matte and shiny satin and velvet, and as the name suggests, black-and-white plays a large role in this range, which is represented through stripes and polka dots.

Because of its digital prints, irregular stitchings and free-hand sketched bouquets of flowers done on sheer and stretchy fabrics, the Blue Ink theme delivers the illusion of a tattoo printed on the skin.

Black Lights gives black a new look by infusing it with influences of baroque motifs, decorative strokes and glitter, while the Platinum Age theme is embellished with small flower prints, subtle random stripes and classic tapestry motifs.

Boudoir Des Poupees and Easy Cosy are also flower-inspired, although Boudoir features a more feminine feel, while Easy Cosy appears to be more masculine.

Hd Jungle features a “technological” mood, said the company, which is represented through its spotted designs done on warm tones of beige and in light blue grays.

Lastly, Cosplay Generation features revised animal prints, reinterpreted laces, flowers with innovative strokes and patchwork, while emulating a retro 1970’s feel.
