To put a positive spin on the matter, the company has launched a new line of "divorce-friendly" products to complement the recent trend of divorce parties.

Through his market research, Berkowitz discovered women are more likely to go out and buy accessories and set up a party, whereas men are more likely to go out and get drunk to commemorate the "new beginning." As a result, Forum has created the Divorced Diva product line, specifically targeting women who have moved on from their divorces and are ready to celebrate.

The product line is two-fold, says Berkowitz. It features several accessories that poke fun at the ex-husband, such as piñatas, dartboards and doormats designed to attach a picture of the ex; as well as products to uplift the ex-wife and make her the center of attention, including tiaras, sashes and hats, among others.

Divorced Diva has reached lingerie, party and sexy adult stores mid-May and ranges in wholesale prices of $1 to $5. It retails between $2.99 and $14.99.

In the future, Berkowitz says he will expand the line to include more accessories and novelty gifts.
