(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Movelle is a Poland-based bra brand, launched at the end of 2020, with an interesting, strappy, architectural style. Already sold in Europe, the company has plans to launch in the U.S. sometime this year.

Owner Magdalena Palmer told BODY, “this is a niche project and a young brand. What makes us unique in a very wide and inclusive sizing range. If we offer a particular product, it is the same visually within [the] whole sizing range, and this varies in EUR sizing from 65 in bands (30) up to 85 and 90 (40), and in cups from B/C up to K.” She expects bras in the collection to retail in the U.S. for $95 to $110.

The focus of the collection is constructed bras, as well as matching panties, but Palmer is looking to expand to swimwear, a bridal collection, pajamas, robes, sports bras and body suits.

“I design the collection to be the most comfortable,” she continued. “Doesn’t matter who you are and what you do. If you are at home with three children taking care of the home, or if you haven’t decided about your goals yet, or even if you are a nailing your career [as] financial director, you need to feel comfortable. You need to like the woman in you and let her feel good, comfortable and taken care of.”

Palmer founded her lingerie business, Room669, in 2013 and Movelle is a continuation of that operation. It is currently sold in Poland, Sweden (including at “the oldest and most appreciated lingerie store, Gustaf Mellbin, in Stockholm), Mexico (Biofemme in Guadalajara), Misty in Iceland, Naddinsize in the Ukraine,” and in the Netherlands. “In Poland we collaborate with Moliera2 (a very high end fashion online and offline store).”

Palmer emphasized she designs for “maximum wear comfort (so you may forget about the bra or panties you have on),” as well as “to shape your body so you don’t feel overdressed.” She added she wants her garments to “do what they should do with your body. I want the design to remain timeless and very simple. I love simplicity as it is always in style and always practical.”

The lingerie utilizes “only European, proven suppliers,” from Poland, France, Italy, Spain and Turkey.

In the U.S., Palmer is looking to “focus on working with lingerie stores and department stores with special lingerie department, as we have true bra fitting lingerie.” — NM
