(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Livenza is a romantic Colombian lingerie brand planning to return to the upcoming Curve show in New York.
Founded in 2016 by Cristina Franco, the brand is already sold in a variety of U.S. specialty stores as well as Bloomingdale’s, Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters. The company also distributes in Colombia, Guatemala, Mexico and Canada.
“Livenza is a subtle and feminine brand with a romantic and sophisticated touch,” explained Franco, in response to questions from BODY. “The lingerie and sleepwear brand is dedicated to providing women with confidence, comfort, and beauty. All garments are created and produced in Colombia, a country full of charm, beauty, and diversity.”
“Livenza empowers women from within, inviting them to embrace their femininity and to dress for themselves and not others,” she continued. “Every Livenza piece is crafted with utmost attention to detail to make women feel special and unique every day.”
“Livenza’s inspiration is always floral and feminine, displaying unique, hand-crafted prints and fine and delicate materials that include imported lace, mesh, microfiber and charmeuse.”
In the U.S. bras retail from $60 to $65; panties from $30 to $35, and sleepwear styles from $100 to $150. Sizes range from small to extra large, and the line usually includes about 35 styles.
According to the designer, she first traveled to New York with “a bachelor’s degree in fashion design,” and “had the chance to intern for boutique brands, such as Daisy and Elizabeth, and couture designers like Nanette Lepore,” as well as taking business courses at FIT. After a stint working in the swimwear business in Colombia, she founded Livenza.
