(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Panty Promise is a collection of seamless, organic cotton panties launched a year ago promising “zero panty lines with a focus on feminine health & hygiene,” according to founder and designer Jessica Krupa.
She told BODY that “after working in the fashion industry for over 20 years,” she had seen “first-hand how dirty the garment industry could be. While working as a panty designer for a leading company for nearly a decade, she discovered all the chemicals, cheap materials, and synthetic fibers that were applied to women’s panties and knew that these couldn’t be good for feminine health and hygiene.”
To create Panty Promise she partnered with New York State gynecologist Dr. Alyssa Dweck to “deliver the best panties for women everywhere — health and design wise after winning New Brand Award at Curve” in 2020. This year the company also launched a seam-free, “patent pending” panty liner, “made from organic cotton fabric that is GOTS certified [Global Organic Textile Standard],” according to Krupa.
The panties are available in sizes “XS-4X, and in a range of five different skin tones, so most sizes and ethnicities can wear our brand.” Styles include a Low Rise Hipster, Low Rise Thong, High Waist Hipster, High Waist Thong and Mid Rise Bikini. Retail prices for all styles are: “$20 for XS-XL, and $24 for 1X-4X.”
Krupa emphasized, in email responses to questions, that “with our innovative technology, we are able to laser cut our panties to offer seamless designs without any elastics, seams, and stitches to avoid digging and tugging. Think smooth, comfy, and invisible under your tightest bottoms. You’ll simply forget that you’re wearing them!” She added, that the “high rise coverage fits comfortably at your natural waist. Back coverage has flattering curves around your cheeks.”
Krupa is “interested in selling and distributing our panties in all wholesale venues so women everywhere can have access to clean panties.” Currently, she told BODY, clients include such stores as Rumeur Lingerie in San Diego, Art of Intimates, in Amherst, Massachusetts, Aristelle in Portland, Maine and Forever Yours Lingerie in Canada. Underscoring the fact that Panty Promise undergarments are “gynecologist approved,” and that “Our breathable organic cotton supports vaginal health and hygiene,” Krupa applied for the following trademark this year: “A Panty A Day Keeps the Gyno Away!” — NM
