(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Delta Galil has signed a licensing agreement with Wolford to produce a collection of high end lingerie and swimwear.

According to Gelena Oren at Delta Galil one aim is to add new, younger women to the customer mix. The line will also include larger sizes, with DD and E cups and band sizes ranging from 32 to 40.

Top quality materials will be used. The retail price for the bras will be around $150, panties will range from $100-$140 and bodysuits are expected to sell for $250-$275.

Wolford will continue to produce its leggings, hosiery and ready to wear collections.

According to Oren, target stores will include Bloomingdales, Nordstrom and Saks, among others. Wolford also has about 250 monobrand points of sale around the world. In all, Wolford claims, on the company’s website, that it has “3,000 trading partners” and “the brand is present in more than 45 countries worldwide.” Contact Gelena Oren, senior director of sales, (212) 481-3550, Gelena.Oren@us.deltagalil.com. —NM
