(Filed Under Wholesale Swimwear News). Elizabeth Hurley opened her first standalone beachwear boutique at Bicester Village, the UK”s luxury outlet village, on April 2nd, featuring her own beachwear collection as well as complementary brands.
Hurley’s is the only swimwear you can nab at the beach hut-shaped store, but it also offers sun hats from Philip Treacy and sunglasses from Gross.
Products in the store range anywhere from £15 for a pair of flip flops to £160 for pure silk caftans, approximately $22 to $240 at the current exchange rate.
Hurley’s Beach line is now in its ninth season and offers bikinis, tankinis, one-pieces, tops, shorts, pants, dresses, cotton and silk tunics, caftans adorned with beading, sarongs, beach bags, towels and beach hats.
At the opening, Hurley spent time greeting customers and helping them choose their perfect beachwear wardrobe. “My Beach Hut opening at Bicester Village was great; I served 126 customers in my two hour stint behind the till,” said Hurley. “We sold lots of special pink bikinis and sarongs and I’m donating 100 percent of the ticket price to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The customers were great and it was a really special day.”
Hurley has additional selling points in over thirty territories including the U.S., Germany, France, Spain and Italy, among several others. Additionally, products may be purchased via the e-commerce website.
