“We launched Midnight Maddie a few years ago, exclusively at Hudson Bay Company and Lord and Taylor,” explained the company’s Anny-Claude Lapierre. “Based on our success there, we expanded to independent retailers across Canada in 2020. Next year we expect retailers in the States to do well with this tested and proven concept.”

“The collection is young and fun. It is gift-giving-oriented. For example, we have packaged pajamas for the holidays. That could be fun slippers or socks, packaged with pajama or robes. These combinations have been very popular.”

The Midnight Maddie line is small but growing. “Right now there are about fifteen styles,” continued Lapierre. “There are flannels and cozy knits. The robes are made of fluffy coral fleece. Retail prices range from $29 to $69. The collection is perfect for the customer looking for a great gift, already packaged.”
