(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Comfeez bralettes, the latest introduction from Shapeez, are not only getting great reviews from consumers, as we noted in an article in BODY in August, but also now from retail store owners.

The new bralettes are based on the original, patented design concept invented by co-owner Staci Berner 15 years ago. “All Shapeez bras eliminate the look of back fat, bulges and visible bra lines, while at the same time providing full bra support and 360 degree shaping,” explained Berner. “As with all our bras, the Comfeez bralettes will never squeeze, pinch or bind. They feel like a second skin. You may even forget you’re wearing them.”

One example of how Comfeez bralettes are doing comes from Jeanne Emory, owner of The Bra Genie in Baton Rouge. She told BODY, the Comfeez bralette is “a super comfortable option for ladies seeking a 360-degree smooth look under their tops or dresses.”

Comfeez are “best suited for under loungewear or extremely casual clothing. It is a better fit for ladies with smaller cup sizes, under a DD or so.” She added, “Customers who like them best love the way the full-backed shape helps to smooth and shape their softer back tissue. Most customers who like this bra tend to like a very loose band fit, and don’t mind a little less shaping by the cups.”

This shop also sells the Shapeez Silkee Short, The Ultimate and the Tankee Short.

Comfeez bralettes are different from the rest of the collection in several key ways. “First, they do not contain wires or a sewn in cup, so we are able to retail them for a lower price than the rest of the Shapeez collection,” explained David Berner, CFO and co-owner. In addition, “Comfeez bralettes are offered in fewer sizes (small, medium, large, X large and 1X) so the collection is easier to stock by retailers.”

He added that “we are in the final phase of approving a Racer Back version of the Comfeez. Ideal for yoga and other low impact activities.”
