(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Delta Galil’s CEO, Isaac Dabah, confirmed to BODY that the Bare Necessities current team will remain in place now that it is under his company’s control.
On August 24, Delta Galil annouced it had signed an agreement to purchase the online retailer from Walmart, which had itself acquired the online intimates retailer in mid October, 2018.
This is the second online retailer Delta Galil has acquired this year. In January it bought Brayola.com, which was in a form of bankruptcy, for a reported $1.1 million.
In an email response to questions about the Bare Necessities acquisition, Dabah told BODY, “We are bringing in all the current team and our head of digital will supervise this business.”
According to published reports, citing Dabah as the source, Brayola had itself accumulated losses of between $3 million and $4 million a year before being taken over by Delta Galil. — NM
