Tatyana Ponomareva, founder and owner of Valens Lingerie, which distributes the label, told BODY the 30-year brand focuses on “exclusive sets of elegant foundation lingerie and swimsuits that emphasize beauty, class and style.” Over the past 16 years sales have spread internationally to include Japan, Canada, Israel, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Belgium, Holland, France, Italy, Spain, Russia and Ukraine.

“The Autumn/Winter 2020-21 collection consists of 11 lines and continues their focus on creating an elegant look with sophisticated lines. The group includes two bodysuits and night dresses,” she continued.

The new Diamond line from Ewa Bien incorporates “environmentally friendly yarn, made from recycled plastic bottles.” The yarn was produced in “cooperation with Inter Spitzen AG” and has a “global recycled standard certificate.” According to Ponomareva, “Ewa Bien first utilized this fabric to present its Diamond line in the Autumn/Winter 2019 and Spring/Summer 2020 collections. This line has become Ewa Bien’s highest volume, best-selling line.”

“Sustainability is very important for Ewa Bien and for Valens Lingerie,” she emphasized. “And we both pay lots of attention to increase our influence on improving the environment. Designing and manufacturing and selling products that utilize environmentally friendly yarn in the production of lingerie.”

“The new Autumn/Winter 2020 collection delivers the latest fashion tendencies and utilizes black, gold, green and violet colors. Ewa Bien’s inspiration for these lines is divided in two concepts. One is inspired by nature. Blue storm sky: Tamal Blue. The color of earth: Tamal Caramel. The Leopard animal print. And a deep, jungle green: Diamond Green.”

Zoe and Ivette are two new bra styles (models B161 and B162 respectively), in which “stronger fabric material is utilized, combined with embroidery,” which allows the creation of larger bra sizes. B161 is available in sizes: 32 E-O, 34 D – N, 36 C – M, 38 B – L, 40 B – K and 42 C – J. Model B162 is available in sizes: 30 E – J, 32 D – I, 34C – H, 36 B – G, 38 B – F and 40 C – E.
