(Filed Under Financial and General Interest News). The Halloween & Party Expo, which had been scheduled for January 22 through 24, has been canceled.
The organizers say they will “now pivot to a virtual event for the Halloween, party, celebration and haunt community.”
The Halloween show was to have taken place at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas. Location and dates for the show in 2022 were not announced.
The organizers noted, “In light of both governmental direction and general public health advisories a face-to-face event will not be possible with the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the government issued State of Disaster in Texas.”
This latest cancellation puts in doubt several other in-person trade show events planned for early 2021.
