(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). VictoriasSecret.com reopened for online business on Thursday, March 26. On Thursday March 19, both Victoria’s Secret and Pink had closed their online stores through March 29. That came shortly after both brands had said they were closing their brick and mortar stores until March 30.
Pink merchandise is also now available on VictoriasSecret.com. A recent search for “pink” revealed 2608 results.
The latest announcement did not provide a date for when the brick and mortar stores would be back in business, stating only “We look forward to reopening our doors to you soon.” As for web orders, the retailer warned “We ask for your understanding during this time as you may experience delivery delays.”
The closing of the Victoria’s Secret and Pink online stores was notable since most other online intimates sites have stayed open.
Victoria’s Secret claimed, “We have been working around the clock to implement safeguards in our distribution centers and are pleased to say we feel confident in the steps we’ve taken.” It added, “We’ve deep cleaned the entirety of our distribution center to ensure a clean working environment for all associates upon return. We will continue to clean and disinfect multiple times a day with our special cleaning teams.
• We have installed numerous, readily available hand sanitizing stations.
• Our work stations have been re-organized to allow for a safe 6-foot distance between associates.
• We have implemented staggered shifts to limit the number of people in the building at one time.
• We have a full-service wellness center and pharmacy located in our distribution center so associates can access healthcare and medicines quickly and easily.” — NM
