Crisscross Celebrates Web’s 2nd Anniversary

(Filed Under wholesale Mastectomy News). Crisscross Intimates recently celebrated the two-year anniversary of the April 2017 opening of its e-commerce store.

The company offers retailers, healthcare providers and breast cancer survivors “a one-stop shopping intimate experience for any stage or phase of luxe post-surgical intimate apparel and accessories for women and men,” according to founder and designer, Jean Criss. “Living life passionately purple, pretty in pink!”

Criss is a 12-year bilateral breast cancer survivor, author, columnist and writer of inspiration and advancements in women’s breast health and wellness. Her work can be seen in numerous articles and blog posts; CrisscrossIntimates.com/Blog. Additional posts; CrisscrossIntimates.com/Columnist; CrisscrossIntimates.com/Press; CrisscrossIntimates.com/Radio.

“Criss has become a renowned expert in her field not only from her survivor experiences and on-going journey but she continues to apply innovation and creation at all levels of her operations to further excellence in supporting her “pink passion for fashion” in the world of breast cancer at large. Criss dedicated 10 years in product design and development and has a utility and design-patented collection, trademarks and copyrights alike,” the company reported.

“I feel like I’ve just tapped the fashion industry with my innovations because I have so many more designs yet to be produced, pending investors and funding.”

“Her designs allow BC survivors to transition from recovery to survivorship in ways no other brand has touched, offering extensive solutions and ensembles, colors, sizes and styles that complement her vision and strategy for “what’s breast to wear” post-surgically. Her brand and specific styles are named in memory of cancer survivors and loved ones. The Crisscross women’s bras, panties and men’s vests offer a form of comfort, compression, closure, color, chic-ness following through with the four “C’s” in her collection supporting the four “P’s” learned as a former board trustee at Susan G. Komen – “Passion, Perseverance, Persistence and Promise.”

“The four powerful P’s became my ‘mantra’ as I learned in the world of high-tech, digital media and business these other four “P’s” -- Product, Promotion, Price and Place, year’s ago. I took my areas of expertise, merged these categories into one comprehensive solution, to offer products that would rock a survivor’s world.”

Criss wrote in her survivor story: “My promise, our promise: To save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find the cure.”

“Some of the design elements you will find in Criss’ unique designs include her standard criss-cross front closure, wrap styles, racer-back with her signature upside down “J” breast cancer symbol, magnetic sides closure, optional drainage loops or pouch for convenience, double-bonded and ultra-sheer luxurious micro-fiber fabrics, matching hipster briefs, laser-cut thongs, leggings, tops and accessories.”

Criss thought of the entire ensemble “to ensure she’s got you covered from ‘head-to-toe’ and in ten fabulous colors using her trendy media and marketing prowess to allure VIP buyers and survivors alike.”

“I quickly learned years ago, survivors no longer appeal to simple foundation colors of black, nude, pink or white in basic mastectomy bras. The market has changed and by designing a colorful collection with contemporary simple, elegant designs, and offering reversible bras, such as our lace and stretch recovery criss-cross Bra, we offer a diverse portfolio for women of all ages with many styles. I thought about “what women like to wear” when I initially broke ground and launched the line. And so I put all sorts of offerings into the collection.”

Sample style Crisscross bra colors in the Nina or Grace (plus size) collections include: Pretty in Pink; Hot Pink Mama; Bust Out in Black; Bodacious Blue Ta-Tas; Don’t Touch My Navy Blues; Don’t Blush Baby and more.

There are also spring and fall colors available in the activewear and recovery garments such as Bright Orange, Yellow, Apple Green, Vanilla, Maroon, Pale Blue, and others. Limited edition colors are also sometimes available. These bras offer Lycra stretch and lace fabrics.

The Crisscross bras range from petite to curvy, in sizes S-2XL with custom plus sizes available for larger breasted women. Sizes S-XL are offered in the activewear bra line and for panties and leggings. Mastectomy bras are insurance reimbursable using codes L8000 and L8015. “Crisscross Intimates has received four award-winning ISO accreditations for designs.”

“For accessories, Criss wanted to partner with leading industry brands that help provide customers an intimate experience wearing a full ensemble — adding leggings, enhancers, breast forms, lingerie soaps and bags, and other items for that one-stop shopping experience.”

“Criss offers a variety of undergarments for men – compression and luxurious vests, tanks, shapewear and training tights so they, too, can be discreet wearing products underneath their every day apparel. Colors include Black, Nude and White in most styles; sizes range from S-4XL depending on the style.”

“Criss promotes her products weekly via social media and on the e-commerce site and is an avid participant at lingerie, healthcare and breast cancer events, exhibits, conferences, and trade shows. She was invited to Hollywood in her first year in business and is a regular sponsor at many pre-red carpet celeb gift-giving and product placement type events. She has exhibited and sponsored various monthly breast cancer events reaching thousands of breast cancer survivors these past two years, and she continues to earn her industry continuing education accreditations by participating at many programs. These include the recent annual NY Presbyterian/Columbia University Breast Cancer Management Conference in Harlem where Criss exhibited her line to hundreds of top doctors from the Northeast and blogged about advancements in breast health and wellness for her sixth year.”

“As a fashionista at heart, I wish all survivors the very breast!” stated Criss. You may shop Crisscross Intimates and reach Jean Criss at info@crisscrossintimates.com.
