(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Shapeez is about launch the long version of its Comfeez bralette, following the successful introduction of its Comfeez short. The new style will soon be on the website and begin shipping to stores.
“The Comfeez long provides extra tummy control and figure shaping, as well as all the normal benefits of our patented back-smoothing design,” explained CFO and co-owner David Berner. “No muffin top, no more bra lines or bulges. Our long styles can be tucked in at the waist.”
The new Comfeez bralettes costs less than the original Shapeez styles “because there is no need for under wires or a sewn in cup. Instead we use a bubble molded cup that provides light breast support while avoiding the uniboob look. A hidden pocket has a removable foam cup that provides shaping and nipple coverage which can also accommodate a prosthesis. The long version of the Comfeez bralette retails for $67 while the short sells for $54. Both are available in black and nude.
“The lower price has really had tremendous impact on the Comfeez launch,” Berner continued. “Our first production run of the short version sold out in four days. And we quickly sold out in several sizes of the second run. We also had to make a large, unexpected second order of the special Italian, moisture wicking fabric we use to make all of the Comfeez styles.”
Next in the Comfeez series will be a short, racer back style. “This will have the same properties as the Comfeez short, but the racer back is great for warmer weather, or for low impact workouts like yoga and Pilates,” said Berner. The racer back will also be available in black and nude and will retail for $54. After that a Lace version of the Comfeez will be offered.
Shapeez styles incorporate the patented back smoothing design that inventor and founder Staci Berner incorporated in the very first bra over a decade ago.
All the new Comfeez bralettes features no clasps or closures, are front adjustable with no-fall straps, and are wire free.
Initially the styles are offered in small, medium, large, extra large and 1x. Even larger sizes, which will go up to 4x, are on the way soon.
