(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Gihan Gabor has been named national sales manager at Dreamgirl International. She will be responsible for all sales including Dreamgirl brand lingerie and costumes, as well as the company’s various private programs.
At the same time the company announced the resignation of Lorraine Imrich as director of sales.
“We are all very excited,” explained CEO Barry Revzen. “Gihan has great contacts — she has been in the business for over 20 years — and she is great to work with. I know she will do a great job. The customers are going to love working with her as will our reps and distributors.”
Gabor’s extensive experience in the intimate apparel industry includes stints at Ralph Lauren Intimates, Felina and Parfait, among others. In the new position she reports directly to Revzen and will continue to work with the company’s private label sourcing expert, Tim Regan.
Gabor originally joined Dreamgirl as vice president of business development in January. — NM
