(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Bandelettes, the company that introduced patented, anti-chafing thigh bands, half a dozen years ago, has now added two styles of “panty shorts,” designed with the same purpose in mind.
Introduced in March, one style is sheer, the other features a “triangle of nylon on the middle,” explained Rena Abramoff who co-owns the company with Julia Abasova. The sheer style, Elegance, is offered in beige, black and white. The Allure style, with the nylon panel, is available in beige or black.
The panty shorts, which are not patented, were conceived “for same reason as our bands, to protect from chafing.” She added that they also “smooth out women’s outlines” but do not squeeze them. The panties are both comfortable and beautiful she emphasized. “Most companies offer only comfortable or beautiful. We offer both in one.” The panty shorts retail for $25.99.
