(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Seven ‘Til Midnight (STM), the California intimate apparel wholesaler, was acquired earlier this month by J&V Apparel, Inc., a firm that was itself established in December, 2018.
Sunny Mirwani, J&V’s CEO told BODY that he purchased only the Seven ‘Til Midnight business.
The owner of the brand until recently, Eighty One International Inc., which had also been doing business as Carrie Amber Intimates, “will continue to focus on growing their house brands which includes Spree, Flex, Spreegirl and Carrie Amber along with their private label business and licensed brands Daisy Fuentes and Paris Blues,” Vinh Luong, vice president of Eighty One, told BODY.
“We are proud of the accolades and recognition that Seven ’Til Midnight has garnered over the last 11 years. More importantly, we sincerely appreciate our customers’ support and hope they will continue to love the brand as much as we do.”
Mirwani added, “although initially STM will be continuing in the same manner as it has been in the past, we anticipate in the second half of the fiscal year to introduce new divisions to the brand. We have already added a wet look category which customers will find in our 2019 collection that is very sexy and sleek.”
Asked if he is now controlling the STM website and if the styles pictured there are still available, he replied, “Yes we are. The website will continue to offer the styles shown. We are also in the process of giving the site a new look. Stay tuned!” Prices will stay the same for the most part, changing, “only slightly for certain new styles that have more work done on them or use more expensive fabrications.” The existing design team will also remain in place.
The independent sales reps will, for now, “remain the same.” The company sales contact is firstname.lastname@example.org “Since we have a geographically based sales team, once an inquiry is made to the above email, the respective sales member will contact them.” — NM
