(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Shapeez has just made two new products available to retailers: Suddz intimate apparel and activewear wash and Nippeez non-adhesive, petal-shaped nipple covers with tapered edges.
Suddz is a specially developed laundry detergent that, in addition to providing for superior cleaning of intimates, also dissolves make-up and lipstick marks. “Because it doesn’t contain softeners, it helps your items keep their original shape and extends their useful lifetime,” explained co-owner David Berner. “While many similar products feature a “no-rinse” formula, we went the other direction as we don’t feel comfortable having soap and cleaner residue coming in contact with sensitive body parts."
Berner continued, noting “Suddz can be used for cleaning natural fiber fabrics, it’s specifically formulated to be effective on synthetics and synthetic fabric blends such as nylon-lyrca and other lingerie and intimate fabrics and laces.”
Suddz comes in a 32 ounce bottle with a suggested retail price of $18.95. But it is also available in 1.3 ounce packets (which retail for $1.99 or six for 9.99). “Not only is Suddz a superior product for cleaning lingerie and activewear garments, but this item is way for retailers to increase their profits. The packets are designed to help stores introduce the product. And they serve as a potential gift with purchase for some customers.”
The second new product, Nippeez, “provides exceptional coverage with a smooth look and feel that’s virtually invisible under clothing. The four inch wide, contoured shape is meant to slip into any form fitting bra, bralette, swimsuit or sports bra to conceal nipple projection,” explained Berner. “The high quality silicone is naturally hypoallergenic and safe for all skin types. The non-stick design allows them to be washed and reused. They are perfect for all breast shapes and sizes.” The nipple covers retail for $18.95 the pair.
Suddz and Nippeez join an expanding line of Shapeez of products. The company’s original, patented bra concept was invented over a decade ago by co-owner and CEO Staci Berner, and features a design that furnishes full bra support while eliminating the look of bra bulges and back fat. The bras also provide slimming and shaping benefits.
