(Filed Under Financial and General Interest News). Despite their recent 4th quarter loss, Neiman Marcus has announced plans to give back to the community upon opening their first store in the Pacific Northwest.
The company plans to donate all of the proceeds from their opening gala taking place in Bellevue, Washington on September 10, 2009 to the local charities Hopelink, Overlake Hospital Medical Center and PONCHO. The store, which will be located at the Bravern, will mark their 41st nationwide.
Hopelink provides local citizens in need with services including food, housing and transportation, while Overlake is a charitable regional medical center. PONCHO funds the arts in Washington State.
