(Filed Under wholesale Hosiery News). Studio Collants has been expanding the number of retail stores carrying the brand since it introduced its elaborate and interesting hosiery in the U.S. in 2017, and showed it at the February New York Curve show.

The label, which is manufactured in Poland, is well established in Europe, and chose to launch here with a dedicated distribution operation in Georgia.

“We currently offer over 200 styles which include stockings, thigh highs and pantyhose,” explained Josh Ordonio who heads up sales here. “We maintain a full inventory of styles and sizes ready to ship. We usually ship all products within 48 hours from when the order is put in.”

The brand is known for the intricate designs it weaves into its hosiery. The overall effect is unusual but classy, sexy without becoming trashy.

A favorite theme is to start with a pantyhose silhouette, and then weave in tromp l’oeil patterns to make it look like the wearer has on a vast range of other lingerie: elaborate panties or hot pants, strings, garter belts and thigh highs of all sorts, back seamed thigh highs, and so on.

There is even hosiery impregnated pheromones. All this in a huge range of colors and sizes, including plus sizes. “What sets Studio Collants apart from other hosiery brands is the focus on creative designs,” said Ordonio. He added that some of the bestselling style numbers in the U.S. so far are: ART 308, ART 385, ART 421 and 357.

A big plus with Studio Collants is that all of this European fun can be had at a very reasonable cost. “The average retail price range of the collection ranges from $23.00 to $27.00.” Moreover, the brand uses top notch photography and models, making the hosiery look far more expensive than it is.

“We enjoyed attending the Curve show in New York,” continued Ordonio. “We received a lot of interest from the various stores attending the show.” Retailers that have already bought the collection include Anna Bella Fine Lingerie in Alpharetta, Georgia; Blue Boutique in Utah; Lover’s Lair in Washington; Bella Vous Lingerie in South Dakota; Sensuous Legs in California; Elegant Up in Georgia; and Aricie in California.

Ordonio emphasized that the brand “is looking for strong retail partners and is committed to supporting its stores.” He added that in addition to protecting territories, “We have a strong MAP (minimum advertised price) policy.”
