(Filed Under wholesale Socks News). LittleMissMatched, a sock manufacturer known for its mismatched socks, has recently launched its first ever range of sporty socks, featuring wacky colors and fun prints catering to the tween market all the way to the “69-year-old grandmas.”
The company, created by three friends, interestingly sells its socks in packages of threes as a solution to “the age-old problem of the lost sock” that always seems to get eaten up by the dryer.
The socks are offered in three prints (polka dots, stripes and stars) in five color ways available in girls and women’s sizes. They retail at $16 for the three-pack and are made of a cotton/nylon/rubber/polyester/spandex blend.
“The sporty socks are our first venture into athletic socks,” said the company. “Now girls can also creatively express themselves on the playing field.”
Carolyn Ghantous, store manager and buyer for Colorado-based Anne’s Hallmark, is already carrying the socks in her store and says they have been a “fabulous” seller and added that “they’re great.”
“We’re a big soccer community, so I thought the girls are either going to love them for soccer practice or they’re going to hate them. They’ve done extremely well,” she said. Ghantous sells the socks at LittleMissMatched’s suggested retail price “because I think they do a fair job with their pricing.”
LittleMissMatched also offers flip flops, tanks and undies, pajamas, T-shirts, tights, slippers and more.
