Invista Consolidates, Adds Services

(Filed Under Textiles News). Invista, a producer of polymers and fibers, has announced its apparel customer service facility for North America has moved to its Applied Research Center in Delaware resulting in an expansion of services offered at the Delaware location.

New services include brand standards testing, customer-inquiry analysis and in-process management.

“Guided by Invista’s strong focus on innovation, we have used this research facility in the past to explore new ideas for fiber and fabric applications,” said Robert Dzielak, sales director for Invista apparel in North America. “With the addition of these expanded services, we not only continue our R&D efforts, but also provide added value with brand standards testing and direct customer service.”

The facility is capable of testing services to approve fibers and fabrics under the company’s trademarks, which includes the full range of Lycra fiber and fabrics along with Tactel fiber, Coolmax fabric and Supplex fabric.

Invista operates similar technical facilities in Brazil, Singapore, China and Northern Ireland.
