Wilderness Dreams: New Aqua Line, Catalog

(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Wilderness Dreams, the lingerie and swim brand that utilizes authentic camouflage patterns in its styles, has just begun shipping a new collection: Mossy Oak Break-Up COUNTRY/Aqua lingerie.

According to owner Craig Zwilling, “we are introducing six new pieces within this line.” Included are the Aqua-bow Padded Bra, Pantie and Thong as well as the Aqua Lace-trimmed Camisole, Boyshort and Thong.

“All pieces are made with our luxuriously soft poly/spandex blend, printed in Mossy Oak Break-Up COUNTRY camo.” All styles “will be available to ship in mid-October, just in time for holidays.”

The bras in the collection are available in 14 sizes, “starting with 32A and including three DD sizes (36, 38 and 40). The pantie, camisole and boyshort are sized S through 3XL. “The thong and lace thong are available in sizes S-XL.” The thong and lace thong are available in sizes S-XL.

According to Zwilling the new, light blue color "nicely complements the existing Mossy Oak Break-Up COUNTRY/Cream styles that were introduced earlier this year.” He added the new collection is priced similarly: “Bras and camisoles will retail for $30, while the panties and thongs are $17.00-$17.50.”

Launched in 2001, Wilderness Dreams found its first customers among those who are “an outdoor enthusiast and/or hunter. This is the market niche that we serve, which is why we have historically been found in the outdoor/sporting goods/farm and ranch markets. However, these outdoor enthusiasts shop at many different types of stores. We encourage lingerie retailers who serve this type of consumer to try Wilderness Dreams. Retailers are usually very surprised by the great sell-through they experience. We also have consumers who love the look and style of our products, even if they are not hardcore outdoor people. So the products will get attention from many consumers who walk through the door.”

Lately the company has reached out to lingerie specific retailers, attending such shows as Curvexpo and the International Lingerie Show. Explained Zwilling, “While Wilderness Dreams is still relatively new to the lingerie market, we have product placement in some lingerie stores across the country. We appreciate these stores introducing Wilderness Dreams to their customers and giving us the opportunity to show them how we support our retailers. We look for continued growth in the lingerie market through 2017 and beyond.”

In addition to the new Aqua collection, the company has adding new styles across the board and is finalizing its 2017 catalog. Zwilling said he typically mails the volume “to our dealers in early December, prior to the January / February trade shows. Included in 2017 catalog are two new swim pieces for spring. We are expanding on the popularity of our Break-Up COUNTRY swim line by adding a new boyshort and midkini top. These two pieces are black with accents of camo and will be able to mix-and-match with the other 10 pieces in the COUNTRY swim line.” The company also has a men’s line.
