(Filed Under wholesale Costume News). Seven ‘til Midnight has taken a tip from YouTube with their newest website feature.

In mid-March, they added video streams of models clad in costumes for approximately 80 percent of the line, which includes over 150 styles running at a wholesale price range of $13 for a schoolgirl outfit to $34.85 for an elaborate Renaissance Faire design. The video streams run from approximately 30 seconds to one minute, and are currently available to etailers and other retailers, in addition to photographs of the designs. The company plans to eventually run video stream for the entire costume line.

“This is a reflection of who we are as a company-we always work to be one step ahead of everyone else,” the company’s director of sales and marketing, Vinh Luong, said. “We feel that we are the first company in the sexy industry using this level of technology.”

She added that the customer response has been "extremely positive" with etailers especially attracted to the videos. Seven 'til Midnight's goal with the video streams is to give clients as much access as possible to the costumes, giving them a better idea of how the costumes fit on a person's body.

"This will be extremely helpful to our retailers, and not just the etailers either since brick and mortar stores can show the videos to their customers," Luong explained. "If shoppers see another person wearing the outfit they will say 'I can rock that'. The streams really showcase our fashion forward and high-quality designs."

The company first showcased versions of the video streams in one continuous loop at this winter's tradeshows including the Halloween & Party Expo in Houston.
