(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Wilderness Dreams has added 14 new lingerie and swimwear styles in a new camouflage pattern called Mossy Oak Break-Up Country.
According to owner Craig Zwilling, the six new lingerie pieces are “made with a super-soft and comfortable poly/spandex blend and cream-colored lace, bows, and trim. The lingerie line includes a Lace-cover Bra, Lace Pantie, Lace Thong, Lace-trimmed Camisole, Lace-trimmed Boy Short, and a Baby Doll.” He added that “With the introduction of this new camo pattern to the Wilderness Dreams assortment, we took the opportunity to also redesign some of the lingerie styles. For example, we extended the length of the camisole to make it a bit easier to use as a layering piece. The bra, pantie, and thong use more lace then previous styles and provide a fantastic look. In addition, the Baby Doll features a built-in under wire bra with light padding, adjustable straps, and a two-hook back closure.”
The three panties retails for $17.50, the camisole retails for $30, the bra for $35, and the baby doll is $50. “Wholesale prices for all items provide a 50% margin for the retailers.”
Zwilling noted that the poly/spandex blend used in the lingerie “was first introduced with our Muddy Girl camo items in 2015. Our customers have absolutely loved this new material, so we knew that we wanted to continue providing new items in this same material.”
According to executive, the eight “swimwear styles are made from a durable poly/spandex blend and designed for comfort,” and “are intended to be mix-and-match, with four swim tops and four swim bottoms. The traditional Bikini Top and Bottom are joined by six new styles for Wilderness Dreams. The Ruffled Halter Top and Ruffled Swim Skirt make a great set! We also introduced an under wire Bikini Halter Top, Bandeau, Belted Bottom, and Swim Short with built-in brief. All swim tops are padded, with three of them featuring removable pads.”
“All swim separates retail for $20 - $40, with wholesale prices providing a 50% margin for retailers.”
Zwilling explained that its “Camo patterns are developed and licensed by companies such as Mossy Oak. They develop these patterns based on the needs of the consumers. This could include creating patterns specifically for certain parts of the country or utilizing new technology that allows for ever-increasing realism of their patterns. The camo companies are always developing patterns, typically introducing something new every 2-3 years. As a camo lifestyle company and licensee, Wilderness Dreams brings these camo patterns to other parts of the apparel industry. While camouflage has historically been focused on the outdoor industry, Wilderness Dreams allows consumers the opportunity to expand their love for camouflage and the outdoors into all facets of their life. Working within the apparel industry, we also recognize that our product offerings need to stay fresh. Wilderness Dreams typically introduces new products a couple of times each year.”
