(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). The International Lingerie Show (April 4 through 6, 2016) will feature a new format for the traditional fashion show that is held on Monday night, at the end of the first day of the event.
“Instead of the way it has been run for 20 years, we will be offering a full sit down plated dinner with models walking amongst the tables between courses,” Jeff Yunis, the show owner, told BODY. “There will be a small stage from where they will enter and be introduced (and photographed) and they will carry signs showing company names, booth number and number in the program for item details. After dinner, we will have a comedian and dancing.”
Other aspects of the show itself will remain the same.
According to Yunis, “We expect well over a thousand people for dinner. Everyone who is pre-registered is guaranteed a seat.” During the dinner, “wine, beer soft drinks, ice tea” will be served.
As in the past, exhibitors are charged a fee to have their clothing modeled during the show. The cost structure for the models will remain the same.
Booth sales have been going well and there will be many new vendors in April said Yunis. He added that all the “regulars” are returning and buyer registration has been running earlier and stronger than in the past.
