(Filed Under wholesale Shapewear News). Under Where?, the intimates company that is a division of Kennedy International Inc. (a firm focused on the home furnishings market), has recently introduced a licensed Larry Levine collection of shapewear and lingerie.
BODY interviewed Under Where? executives at August Magic as they were showing the collection. The Larry Levine brand (which is owned by the brand management firm Bluestar Alliance LLC) has been known as a producer of outwear for the past 50 years. Its coats and jackets are sold at Macy’s and Nordstrom, and the brand is also available at Dillard’s and Lord & Taylor according to the Larry Levine website.
Albert Katz, a sales executive at Under Where?, told BODY the company “put together the line of shapewear” and panties with the Larry Levine label to “target the department stores,” including those that already carry the brand in other categories.
“Wholesale price for a two-pack laser cut boy short with leopard print is $6; a high waist, long leg laser cut shaping boxer is also $6. The "Wear Your Own Bra slip," wholesales for $8, and the Seamless Comfort Innovation Bra is offered at $5.”
Katz added that Under Where? has also recently introduced a sports wear label, UWX, which includes three sports bras, in four colors each, and a slimming/active legging.
The Under Where? division of Kennedy opened about five years ago and has a showroom in 183 Madison. Other brands from the company include Skinfully Sweet, Slimazing, Underific, and Frieda & James.
