Dreamgirl Catalog: New 2014/2015 Collection

(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Dreamgirl has just publlshed its 2014/2015 Collection catalog, a 268 page monster, encased in a snakeskin cover with a cut-out peep hole that reveals a model in a strappy mesh and gold chain fringe bra and thong set.

Open the catalog and three models are revealed, all in what Lar Hovsepian, director of marketing, describes as “fetish attire” and leg irons. She explained that the new collection also takes “note of the runway trends” and introduces both “more sexy and strappy fabrications with geometric patterns” as well as “a much more feminine set of pinks (pink, fuchsia, raspberry, orchid, etc).”

Also “new to our collection is a new line of club separates,” said Hovsepian. “We’ve taken note of the demand for stylish and sexy club tops and bottoms and we’ve launched silky and sequined fabrications and coupled them with illusion skirts and oversized tops and strappy, versatile leggings.”

Another addition for Dreamgirl is a “new set of demi-cup shelf bras that expose the ta-tas so nicely and coordinate well with garter belts we have in our line…from satins to cross-dye laces.”

Included amongst the product shots in the catalog, are several of what look like movie stills taken from a film of the “Eyes Wide Shut” variety. In the first of several that include a male model, one girl spanks another as another pair of models prepare to embrace while three other models (one flexing a riding crop) and single older man look on.

Indeed, in many of these “scene” shots at the beginning of the catalog, an older, rough looking “gentleman,” with a loosened tie around his neck surveys the nearly naked models. Further into the catalog the male model is wearing progressively less clothing, and is more passionately involved with the female models.

Going through the entire the catalog, one finds a well-photographed section of black light reactive dresses, shot in the dark to show how the dresses will actually look in a club. There is a great deal of hosiery, a large section of panties and an extensive plus size collection shot on plus models.

Overall, the catalog is expertly shot in luxurious, “old money” locations, with all garments shown in precise detail.
