(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Aubade signed this month a “long term,” and “exclusive” distribution agreement for the U.S. with Easton International, the powerhouse sales organization, according to Easton owner Russ Klein.
“It is a fabulous collection and it fits very nicely with our portfolio of brands,” Klein told BODY. He added that Easton will soon begin selling the Fall, 2014 styles. While the Aubade brand has been available in this country for years, it has never seemed to reach the prominence it has in France, where it ranks among to top luxury brands in department and specialty stores.
Easton, which describes itself as a national sales agency representing “premium to luxury brands for over 30 years,” currently handles such lines as Hanro, Janine Robin, Feraud, Pretty Polly (and related hosiery brands), Falke and Rosch.
“We are very excited” about the opportunity, said Klein, adding that he has great expectations for the brand.
Founded in 1875, Aubade was purchased by Calida, a public company based in Switzerland, in 2005.
