(Filed Under wholesale Costume News). Leg Avenue is developing three new lines of adult costumes based on characters from Hasbro’s 1980’s animated series My Little Pony, Classic G.I. Joe and Classic Transformers. The costumes will be available in the U.S. and Canada in 2014.

“With the popularity of our other nostalgia licenses, we felt that Hasbro was the perfect partner for Leg Avenue,” stated marketing manager, Lisa Griffin. “We hold these properties near and dear to our hearts and are thrilled to have the opportunity to create costumes that really honor the characters and excite the fans.”

According to the company announcement, ”The success of their other nostalgic licenses such as Top Gun, Grease, Flashdance, and Street Fighter has made Leg Avenue the “go-to” company to license these pop-culture faves. With the excitement of the upcoming 2014 Transformers movie, the planned 2015 G.I Joe movie, and the pop-culture resurgence of My Little Pony, Leg Avenue’s new Hasbro costumes are must-haves for retailers.”
