(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). U.K.-based designer Karolina Laskowska has launched her autumn/winter 2013 collection, an array of couture looks and exotic fetish-inspired pieces made from rare and luxurious materials.
Laskowska, who is still a student in the De Montfort University’s prestigious coutour fashion program in the U.K., began posting photos of her intimate apparel creations on-line, which were widely shared by models, photographers and others in the industry. She began her own lingerie brand in 2012 after boutiques began inquiring if she did wholesale.
Laskowska’s latest styles include strappy, lacey couture lines such as the ink-black Luiza, the ivory-hued Monika, and the paneled Ela Gold and Ela Ivory. Lace-covered, strap-embellished open-cup bras and high-waisted briefs dominate the looks, with demure bows and Swarovski crystals serving as demure embellishments.
The Ume line features colorful, handpicked kimono silks used on a number of fashion-forward, modern silhouettes, including Swarovski-embellished pasties, bikini-style panties with black lace panels, high-waisted briefs with sexy side cutouts, and a waist-cinching waspie corset.
Designs come in sizes S to L. Bottoms range from £45 to £180 ($72 to $290) at retail, while bras range from £90 to £160 ($145 to $258). Ume pasties range from £30 to £50 ($48 to $80), while the waspie corset retails at £295 ($475).
