(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). High-end Belgian lingerie brand La Fille d’O is looking to break into U.S. boutiques with its functional, elegant collections that celebrate the shape of the female form.
Founder Murielle Scherre places great value on combining excellent fit with good quality materials and creative aesthetics. In addition to its creative annual fall/winter and spring/summer collections, La Fille d’O maintains a Basic Needs collection, a line of never-out-of-stock bra and panty styles defined by bold black lines, sheer nude- and black-hued microtulle, and shiny lamé that can double as swimwear or even daring outerwear pieces. The popular One bra, featured in many European fashion spreads, is monowired and has straps that can be worn straight or crossed in the back, as well as in a halter style. Many pieces can be machine-washed.
La Fille d’O bottoms fit U.S. sizes 2 to 10, while bras fit band sizes 30 to 40 and cup sizes A to G. Many lines feature bras that accommodate prosthetics or are specially designed for breastfeeding mothers. Pieces in the Basic Needs collection retail for €55 to €180 ($75 to $245).
The brand is available through an e-commerce shop on its website as well as boutiques across Europe, including locations in Belgium, France, Austria and the Netherlands. It is also available at Selfridges in the U.K., and will be available soon in the U.S. at upscale boutiques, including Brooklyn Fox in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
