(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Espiral, well known for its clubwear and lingerie, will show its AM:PM collection of swim and resort wear for the first time at the upcoming Swim and Lingerie show at the Miami Beach Convention Center, July 20-23.
According to co-owner Angela Escobar, the company expects to find new customers for its collections at the show. AM:PM has reserved three 10 foot by 10 foot units, with the booth number 172.
Earlier this year Espiral published a 202 page AM:PM catalog (up from 146 pages last year), containing the full range of apparel a woman would wear on vacation at a tropical resort: casual sportswear, swimwear, cover-ups, pareos (casual wraparound skirts), day dresses and a large variety of clubwear and dresses for dinner and dancing at night. At the time, Escobar emphasized that Espiral is looking to market the line in a different direction than the original, much sexier, Espiral collection. “We keep them separated,” she said, adding “we are going to start doing more trade shows for the resort wear.”
Swimwear in the collection retails for $30 and up, cover-ups for $20 and up and dresses from $30. Explaining the difference between an AM:PM dress and a sexier and more revealing Espiral evening dress, Escobar declared, “Every girl can wear the AM PM dresses. The cleavage is not huge and the dress are not too short.”
