(Filed Under wholesale Sleepwear News). Among several new products from CCV in 2013 is a “microencapsulated sleepwear collection [that] provides slimming benefits and hydration while you sleep,” according to owner Philippe Lahmani. “The massaging effect will release the microcapsules,” which contain caffeine and hemp oil, “throughout the whole night to slim and reduce dimples.”
The nightgowns and pajamas in this collection provide an “even and continuous release of ingredients on problem areas: hips, thighs and tummy,” according to a company information document. Caffeine is used because it is “well known for its draining action,” while “hemp oil, rich in fatty elements, helps to moisturize the skin and restructure tissues.” Added benefits include “brighter skin” and a “slimmer silhouette.” The process is “effective up to 30 washes” of the garment.
The collection is composed of 100 per cent Cotton for most garments and is “hypo allergenic.” The short sleeved T-shirt has a suggested retail price of $65, the long sleeve T, $70. Both are 98 per cent cotton, two per cent elasthane. The all cotton leggings are $75 retail, sleep shorts are $55.
A black with orange trim night shirt has a suggested retail price of $70, a thin strap gown in the same colors is $65 and a lace thing strap gown in rose with beige trim is $85 at retail.
All the styles come in five sizes, S/M L XL 2XL 3XL which correspond to US sizes: 6-8; 10-12; 14-16; 18-20 and 22-29. All are machine wash, air dry
According to the company, “Clinical tests have shown on a panel of 30 women (no change in their activity).
• -4.3% deep dimples reduction on hips after 28 days.
• 63% of the panel acknowledged silkier and softer skin, better hydration without effort.”
The tests were “Based on 7 nights and 28 days” using the T-shirts and leggings.
