(Filed Under wholesale Mastectomy News). Royce Lingerie, at a booth at the recent Curve New York show, introduced the “Champagne Velvet” bra, expanding its Caress collection of wireless mastectomy bras to about a dozen. The bra, which comes with pockets for prostheses on both sides, includes extensive lace overlay, providing the post-surgical patient a particularly feminine alternative.
According to a company spokesperson, “Champagne Velvet looks just like the bras a women would have worn prior to her surgery.” A special feature is a removable strip of lace, which can be buttoned across the cleavage to conceal any evidence of surgery should the wearer chose a low-cut dress. The bra is similar to Royce’s Champagne Truffle (style #940P).
The new bra (style # 1011P) includes slightly padded cups and comes in one shade, “mink,” which is described as “skin tone pink” according to Sarah Gilbert, a sales executive. The bra has a wholesale price, landed, duty paid, of $27 and is available in sizes 32 to 40, in cups B, C, D and DD. A matching boy short (style #1024) is $11.50 wholesale, and comes in sizes S, M, L.
Founded in 1991, UK-based Royce specializes in wire free bras in AAA to K cups. In addition to the mastectomy collection, there is the Comfort collection of more than a dozen “everyday” bras (and matching pants), several nursing bras, two styles of “Impact Free” sports bras, as well as the “Missy” collection of training bras for young girls. The company is represented in the U.S. by intimates industry veteran Larry Lardner (847) 381-2682, larry.lardner@gmail.com.
