(Filed Under wholesale Hosiery News). According to an e-mail message to BODY on August 3rd from Vic Mulaire of TicTacToe, “I just licensed out our tictactoe name to United Legwear,” adding that that firm has hired some of the “key staff” that worked on the brand. TicTacToe offers socks and hosiery for girls, boys and infants and is listed, along with Cricket Hosiery, as a brand belonging to Baby United, LLC on their website. Baby United, in turn, is now described as “a subsidiary of United Legwear, Inc.”
Publishing after business hours on Friday, BODY was not able to get a comment from United Legwear. We will provide more details next week. No mention of the Baby United brands appear on the United Legwear website.
According to the Baby United website, “Happy young people with comfortable, cozy feet. That was and still is our goal since 1985 – to make young people (and by association their parents!) happy customers in our comfortable, cozy socks and hosiery; and to care for their growing feet.”
